CommUnity develops and protects your business by supporting the communities that support you

Why become a CommUnity Merchant?

Corporate sponsorship has always been a difficult process to justify as they cannot support all approaches. We have all seen New Zealand businesses struggling to decide which sponsorship requests to support, and how to measure whether those sponsorships genuinely expand their customer base and cultivate loyalty. The effect on businesses who cannot support all applications is significant.

Enter: CommUnity.

CommUnity fosters loyal custom by supporting the Community Groups and charities your customers most care about. As a CommUnity Merchant, you decide what % of every CommUnity Members transaction you can afford to give back to your community along with a small annual listing fee of $1000 + GST. For the merchant, both these costs are tax deductible and once registered, copies of the listing fee & % contribution invoices can be viewed and downloaded from the secure merchant portal to be included in annual tax returns.

The merchant % contribution from each sale can be in 0.5% increments and starts at 3% up to any custom % value the merchant feels comfortable with. The average % contribution from every CommUnity Member’s purchase sits between 3 – 5% across our merchant industries.

Every time a CommUnity Member shops with you, you will donate a percentage of the sale to that Member’s chosen CommUnity Groups, positioning you as their preferred Merchant to shop with. CommUnity also saves you the up-front financial outlay involved in traditional sponsorship deals.

Real-time data takes the guesswork out of sponsorship, showing the financial and personal impact of your contribution on CommUnity Groups. Bonus: CommUnity requires very little admin on your part with no loyalty cards for processing at point of sale.
